Promissum

    Returns Are Not a Policy

    They are a promise

Every jar that leaves the Athanor carries a quiet wager | that the formulation will meet you where you stand | that the ritual will deepen with use | that the skin will recognize what it was made to receive

When the wager holds, no policy is needed | when it doesn't, no policy should stand between you and the resolution

    The Sovereign Promise:

    • ·No return window | no thirty-day clock
    • ·No restocking fees | no fine print
    • ·No return-merchandise-authorization paperwork
    • ·No requirement that the jar be unopened
    • ·Refund, replacement, or credit | your choice

If a jar didn't meet you the way it was meant to | write to us | we will make it right

    Why the Promise holds

    The Methodology of Paracelsus

"The dose makes the poison | what is restorative in measure becomes injury in excess | the art is in the discernment"

    — Paracelsus, attributed

The Sovereign Promise is not generosity | it is the natural conclusion of the method | Paracelsus held that medicine works through correspondence between substance and constitution | when the correspondence is true, the body recognizes the remedy | when it is false, no protocol can force a fit

This is the principle the Athanor obeys | every batch begins with grass-fed tallow rendered slowly | every infusion is built on restorative herbs and functional mushrooms chosen for their dialogue with skin | every Materia is cured, settled, and witnessed before it is sealed | nothing leaves the workshop that has not first earned its place there

And yet | constitutions differ | what suits one skin may unsettle another | what meets one ritual may miss another by half a turn | a Paracelsian workshop cannot promise universal fit | it can only promise honest material, honest method, and honest resolution when the fit falls short

This is why the Promise needs no deadline | the substance is what it is on the day it ships, and on the day a jar returns to us | a thirty-day clock would imply that the material expires | it does not | it implies that our willingness to make it right has a shelf life | it does not

The Promise also needs no paperwork | a return-merchandise-authorization is a factory's way of slowing the conversation | the Athanor is not a factory | one email reaches the founder | the founder answers | the resolution is human and direct

The Paracelsian method assumes the practitioner is accountable to the patient | not to a returns department | not to a metric | not to a quarterly margin | the Promise is what that accountability looks like in commerce

You are not a transaction | you are the person on the other side of the work | the work answers to you
