1. Shipping Methods
We ship all orders from our workshop in Calumet, Michigan, using the following carriers:
- USPS: Priority Mail and First-Class for most retail orders.
- UPS: Ground and 2-Day for larger or wholesale shipments.
2. Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated based on package weight, dimensions, and destination. Rates are displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

3. Free Shipping
Retail orders: Free shipping on orders over $85 within the continental United States.
Wholesale orders: Free shipping on orders of 24 jars (1 case) or more within the continental United States.
4. Processing Time
Forged To Order
Sovereign Skincare is hand-rendered fresh for every order. Nothing sits on a warehouse shelf — your jars do not exist until your order is placed. Each jar is hand-made and cured for 5–7 days. Plan on a 7–10 day window from order to shipment:
- Day 1–2 · Forged. Tallow is rendered, infused, and bottled in small batches.
- Day 3–7 · Cured. Each formula rests so the alchemy settles into its final character.
- Day 7–10 · Shipped. Sealed, labeled, and handed to USPS or UPS.
You will receive an email notification with tracking once your order ships. During solstice releases or high-demand periods, the cure window may extend by a day or two — we will not ship anything before it is ready.

6. Local Pickup
Free local pickup is available in the Calumet/Keweenaw area. Select "Local Pickup" at checkout.

You will receive an email with pickup instructions once your order is ready.
7. Local Delivery
Local delivery is available within eligible zip codes in the Keweenaw Peninsula for a $5.00 flat rate. Orders are typically delivered within 1–2 business days. You will receive a notification when your order is out for delivery.
8. Wholesale Shipping
- Wholesale orders ship via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground.
- Complimentary shipping on your first wholesale order, regardless of quantity.
- Orders of 24+ jars (1 case) ship free within the continental US.
- Wholesale shipping rates are calculated based on order weight for orders under 24 jars.
- Wholesale orders are typically processed within 2 weeks (14 days) from order confirmation.
- Expedited shipping is available upon request at additional cost.
9. International Shipping
We currently ship within the United States only. International shipping is not available at this time. If you are located outside the US and interested in our products, please contact us to discuss options.
10. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive an email with your tracking number and a link to track your package. Wholesale buyers can also view order status and tracking information through their buyer dashboard.
11. Lost or Damaged Packages
If your package arrives damaged or appears lost in transit:
- Contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date.
- Provide your order number and any relevant tracking information.
- For damaged packages, include photos of the damaged packaging and products.
- We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and either reship your order or issue a full refund.
