Simply Fresh Green Juice

This green juice recipe is simple and delicious, and has only four ingredients. It is full of healthy foods containing large amounts of water that is alive with minerals and nutrients to give you glowing skin, more energy and a healthier body. Simply Fresh Green Juice is your perfect pick-me-up drink for anytime of day.

An ideal blend of tasty goodness, these foods come together to create a delectable symphony of flavors reminiscent of a beautiful spring day. 

Let’s take a look at the star ingredients:

 

CeleryCelery is 95% water. It carries a wide range of phytochemicals, and is rich in calcium, iron, magnesium and potassium. Celery acts as a diuretic, antioxidant and reduces blood pressure. It is good for arthritis and kidney problems.

 

 

 

CucumberCucumbers are more than 95% water. They have generous amounts of potassium, iron, magnesium, silicon and fluorine. Their high silicon and fluorine content makes them a great food for hair, teeth and nails. Cucumbers are also beneficial to the gall bladder, liver and kidneys.

 

 

Spinach

 

Spinach is more than 88% water. It is particularly rich in high quality organic iron. It is also rich in sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium. Spinach juice is especially nourishing to cells, tissues, nerves and muscles.

 

 

ApplesApples are 85% water. They are an abundant source of magnesium, iron, silicon and potassium. Apples aid in digestion and have a cleansing effect on the body. They also contain anti-inflammatory properties.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 large handful baby spinach
  • 1-2 large English cucumbers
  • 4 celery sticks
  • 1/4 red apple

Always use organic ingredients when possible.

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Rinse ingredients well and trim ends from cucumbers and celery.
  2. Cut foods to fit through the juicer, if necessary.
  3. Feed all ingredients through the juicer and pour into your favorite glass. Serves 1-2.
